реди време ви запознах с историята на HTC – компания, която е започнала да прави смартфони още преди това нарицание да стане факт. Дълги години тайванците бяха лидер на пазара, но постепенно конкуренцията започна да става доста сериозна и днес те не могат да се похвалят с челната позиция. Въпреки това HTC продължава да ни радва с телефони, които имат своите верни почитатели и си заслужават.

Такъв е и моделът, който ще разгледаме днес. HTC One (M8) ни бе предоставен от eMAG за тест и за времето, в което го ползвах, мога да кажа, че останах доволен от него. Миналогодишният флагман на компанията спечели доста награди, макар да не реализира желаните продажби. Тази година водещият модел на HTC не дава видими симптоми на притеснение от представянето на своя събрат и с подновена визия и интерфейс влиза директно в битката с Galaxy S5, LG G3, Xperia Z2 и очаквания iPhone 6. Борбата за HTC не е лесна и през последните години стана все по-ожесточена, но тайванците не се отказват лесно. One (M8)

 

Дизайн и външен вид

Дизайнът не е сред проблемните черти на One (M8). Точно обратното – това е едно от основните му предимства и именно едно от нещата, които лично на мен ми харесват. Разбирам напълно факта, че не всеки харесва металния корпус, но за мен това е далеч по-значим признак за качество и стил, отколкото пластмасата. Тя също има своите предимства, защото не увеличава теглото на първо място, но аз повече си предпочитам метала. One (M8) идва именно с красив метален корпус, без странична рамка или нещо подобно. Задният капак обхваща изцяло телефона с изключение на горната лайсна, където се намира и Infrared портът, поставен под бутона за включване. Отдолу е microUSB портът и 3.5 мм аудио жак, а отпред съответно са по-големият дисплей и двата BoomSound говорителя. За качеството на изработката не е нужно дори да говорим, защото тук нямам никакви забележки. Всичко е направено изключително добре и, както и да го гледам, това си е телефон, който заслужава приз за най-добър дизайн.

Ако търсите премиум дизайн, значи трябва да се огледате за One (M8) в магазина

Като размери One (M8) е 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 мм и има тегло от 160 грама. В общи линии е по-издължен и по-тесен от прекия конкурент Galaxy S5, а наличието на метал го прави и по-тежък от него. Тук идва и един от моментите, в които срещнах малко проблеми с ползването му. Основната причина беше в това, че е доста тесен, а моите ръце не са много малки. Следователно писането на съобщения, държейки телефона вертикално, стана много трудно. От друга страна, ако го ползвате с една ръка е супер, но ако ще пишете с две, то определено трябва да го държите хоризонтално. Другият неприятен момент е включването му чрез Power бутона. Дори и аз не се оправях с него, защото поставянето му отгоре те изправя пред сериозно изпитание. Вариантът да е от едната страна, точно до бутоните за звука, е доста по-приемлив, но уви, инженерното или дизайнерското решение е било да е отгоре. За щастие, телефонът предлага отключване чрез жестове, което в един момент просто изключва напълно ползването на Power бутона. Например, почукването включва екрана. Ако плъзнете нагоре или наляво, ще отключите телефона. Ако плъзнете надясно, отваряте директно BlinkFeed, а надолу ви активира Voice Dialer. Благодарение на тези добавки ползването на телефона вече не е толкова трудно, но тук пък се роди друг проблем. Ако телефонът е на масата, тези жестови команди не работят. Следователно може да ги ползвате, ако телефонът ви е в ръката, което не е толкова зле, но в джоба незнайно защо пак се активираха от време на време.

Проблемите не свършват дотук. Разположението на бутона за включване и 3.5 мм аудио жак също не е най-оптималното, което може да срещнете в един телефон. Както казах, поставянето на Power бутона отгоре води до затруднения с включването, но от друга страна много лесно пък може да си го включите в панталоните. Причината е, че той е чувствителен и при лек допир може да се задейства. Лично аз на няколко пъти, докато ходех и извършвах други движения, успявах да си го включа и дори да вляза в различни менюта. Ще си кажете „ОК, няма да си го слагам в джоба с бутона надолу.“. Това е решение, но когато пък искате да слушате музика на път за работа или училище, искате или не, ще трябва да е с бутона надолу, защото аудио жакът пък трябва да стърчи нагоре. Въобще става едно тотално мазало и някак си не изпитвах голям комфорт, докато ми е в джоба. Да не говорим, че прекаленото издължаване го прави още по-неудобен.

Една от хубавите страни на One (M8) е неговият дисплей. 5-инчовият Super LCD3 IPS дисплей с резолюция от 1080 x 1920 пиксела ще ви даде една наистина страхотна картина. Бих казал, че цветовете са доста точни и, работейки с него навън, няма да имате проблеми. Отраженията не са много големи, а видимостта под ъгъл е достатъчно добра, че да не се налага да си вадите очите докато цъкате. Записвайки видеото, което може да видите малко по-горе, не срещнах проблеми, а всички кадри са правени на открито. Другото, което е и хубаво, и лошо, е наличието на софтуерните бутони. Хубавото е, че вече нямаме капацитивни, което е спомогнало за увеличаване големината на дисплея. Капацитивните при One правеха корпуса прекалено голям в комбинация с говорителите. Лошото е, че дори така те заемат част от площта на дисплея, която може да се ползва за нещо друго, но пълно щастие няма.

Да си призная, във външния вид на този телефон има много хубави черти, които намирам и които ми харесват, но имам и някои малки забележки, с които не бих могъл да се примиря. Вижда се ясно, че има разлика с предходния модел на компанията и това най-вече ще забележите в по-овалните ъгли, както и в заобления гръб на телефона. Корпусът е издължен, но значително добре изработен от материали, правещи телефон истински хай-енд продукт. На този етап мога да кажа, че този телефон е личният ми фаворит в надпреварата за най-красив дизайн. Ще изчакам и LG G3, но засега това е моят избор.
