Кристалин Чавдаров е основател на „Аз мога – тук и сега“  – иновативно Национално състезание по ИТ и визуални изкуства. Насочено е към всички ученици от 8 до 12 клас и тази година ще се проведе за четвърти пореден път. През дните от 25 до 27 април 2014 г. домакин на събитието отново ще бъде SPA Комплекс Исмена.

Състезанието е единственото по рода си с това, че участниците получават възможност да се съревновават в реално време. Категориите, в които те се състезават са: Компютърна презентация, Видеоклипове, Графичен дизайн, Редизайн на уеб сайтове, Фотография (от 2012) и Програмиране (от 2013) и Frontend Development (от 2014).

Извън състезателното време, на разположение на участниците са ментори и лектори, които заедно с журито са изключителни професионалисти и експерти, доказали се в своята сфера в България. Участниците научават от тях актуални нови техники и технологии и получават най-добрите ноу-хау, насоки и съвети в различни области: Интернет, дизайн, програмиране, видеомонтаж, фотография, креативност и много други.

Паралелно със състезанието се провеждат кръгли маси и дискусии с ръководителите за това как може бизнеса и професионалистите да влязат в училището, за да направят нещо полезно както за учениците, така и за учителите. „Нашата идея е не само да правим състезание и да съревноваваме най-добрите ученици по информационни технологии и визуални изкуства, а да помагаме на учителите да създават най-добрите!“, споделя Кристалин Чавдаров.

От тази година още два университета ще приемат с преференциални условия и без изпити победителите 12-класници в състезанието. Това са ИУ Варна и СофтУни, а другите университети, които ще направят това за поредна година са ТУ София и ПУ „П. Хилендарски“.

За инициативата „Аз мога – тук и сега“ Кристалин е избран за един сред новите лидери на България в проекта „40 до 40“ на Дарик Радио, който има за цел да представи успешно реализирали се млади българи до 40 години. Проектът търси интересни и иновативни хора, които вдъхновяват с идеите си, имат потенциал да променят българския бизнес, да бъдат движеща сила на обществото и икономиката и да променят средата, в която живеем. Кристалин Чавдаров и избран за един сред тези първи 40 лидери под 40 години на България и е член на „Клуба на визионерите“ създаден от Дарик.

„Сърдечни благодарности на „40 до 40“ и Дарик радио от името на моята мечта „Аз мога – тук и сега“ и начин на живот! Аз и ние продължаваме да работим с постоянство и амбиция!“, казва Кристалин и допълва: „Това признание е вдъхновяващо за целия екип на „Аз мога – тук и сега“ и за всичко, което ние правим за учениците и учителите от цяла България! Това е невероятна мотивация да продължаваме само напред и да организираме още и още стойностни състезания, академии и походи на вдъхновителите за всички можещи и знаещи тук и сега ученици и учители в България! А ние вяраме, че те са много!“

Състезанието „Аз мога – тук и сега” е най-голямото и най-мащабното национално ИТ състезание в България! Провежда се за пръв път през 2011 година, когато участие вземат 92 ученици и 35 ръководители, а в следващите издания броят им расте стремглаво. Първоначалната регистрация за четвъртото издание на състезанието приключи, а броят регистриралите се участници е 514. В момента тече екслузивна регистрация, която цели да намери Посланици на „Аз мога – тук и сега“. Освен многото изненади, награди и привилегии, посланиците ще разпространяват инициаивата сред своите приятели и връстници.

„Аз мога – тук и сега” има и други направления: SUPERлятна Академия, Поход на Вдъхновителите и от тази година – PROлетна Академия. Всички тези събития и иницитиви целят да мотивират младите хора и да ги вдъхновят, за да повярват, че могат да се реализират успешно без да напускат България!

За цялостния принос на „Аз мога – тук и сега“ Кристалин е носител и на Специалната награда на експертното жури в конкурса БГсайт ’13 – най-престижният конкурс за уеб награди в България. Също така е избран в ТОП10 на класацията “Новатори в образованието”.
